What is an IPS tag?

A Tag is a unique identifier allocated to a Tag Holder with Nominet.UK.

Nominet.UK are the registrar for .uk domain names. A Tag Holder means anyone that applies to Nominet to process Domain Name applications through Nominet's automated registration system - the Automaton. There are application charges and annual renewal charges to be a Tag Holder.
